René González has held various co-founder and leadership roles throughout their work experience. In 2002, they co-founded SITCOM and served as the COO until 2018. In 2007, they co-founded SITWIFI and held the roles of Co-Founder & CTO, as well as Co-Founder & COO. In these positions, they focused on providing infrastructure services for WIFI projects in sectors such as Education, Hospitality, Retail, and Health. René was responsible for establishing a nationwide WIFI network with over 12,000 antennas deployed in hotels across Mexico and the Caribbean. In 2009, René co-founded SICSIC and served as the Project Leader until 2016. Additionally, in 2014, they co-founded the Del Mar Waldorf Initiative. All of their roles involved co-founding and providing infrastructure services in various sectors.
René González attended the Universidad Iberoamericana in Ciudad de México from 1997 to 2002. René pursued a degree in Ingeniero en Electrónica y de Comunicaciones with a specialization in Redes (networks). In addition to their formal education, René obtained various certifications in the field. René received the WiSE Certification from Ruckus Wireless in September 2009, the Axis Certified Professional certification from Axis Communications in September 2011, Control4's Home Automation Certification from Control4 in June 2008, and the Stadium High Density WiFi certification from Ruckus Wireless in November 2013.
