Maki Sawa

Maki Sawa has a strong background in product management and marketing. They worked as a Manager of Product & Marketing at Six Apart from March 2013 onwards. Prior to that, Maki worked at ALC Press, Inc. where they held multiple roles. From November 2009 to February 2013, they served as a Product Manager for Eijiro on the WEB, a bilingual online dictionary search service. They were responsible for the development and marketing of the service, as well as setting goals and enhancing site usability. Before that role, Maki worked as a Book Editor from December 2008 to October 2009, where they planned and edited English text materials for Japanese high school students, and contributed to the promotion of iPhone/iPad applications. From May 2005 to November 2008, they served as a Web Content Producer for Marketing at SPACE ALC, where they focused on introducing new technologies and developed blog content using Movable Type. Maki also has prior experience as a Desktop Publishing Director at Toppan Printing from October 1999 to April 2005 and as a Desktop Publishing Operator at Recruit Media Communications Co. Ltd. from December 1997 to December 1998.

Maki Sawa attended Kobe College from 1994 to 1998, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature.
