Martin Groom

Martin Groom, CSP, has extensive experience in emergency medical services and safety management. Currently serving as a Paramedic Safety Supervisor at Six Flags since July 2021, Martin also holds a long-standing role as an Education Professional with the American Heart Association since June 1992. Previous positions include Safety Officer at GFS from July 2021 to August 2023, Paramedic at Wellstar Health System from December 2019 to October 2020, and Captain Firefighter Paramedic with Cobb County Government for nearly three decades. Martin also operated an industrial instruction service focused on CPR and first aid from 1992 to 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health Environmental Management from Columbia Southern University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Waldorf College, and a Technical Degree in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician from Dekalb Technical College.
