Michael Halloran

Michael Halloran has worked in a variety of roles in the financial technology industry since 1998. Michael began their career as a Senior Consultant at Gemini Consulting, where they were the leader of the Internet Center of Excellence in London. In 2000, they moved to Scient Corp. as a Managing Director. In 2002, they became the Director of Business Planning at Hill Holliday, where they led the Business Planning group and worked on New Business initiatives. In 2005, they founded SoHo Advisors, a digital/e-commerce consulting business. From 2007 to 2015, they worked at Morgan Stanley, first as a Business Development Executive and then as the Head of Technology Business Development for Wealth Management. In 2015, they joined MaxMyInterest as the Head of Business Development & Partnerships, and also became the Head of Business Development for Six Trees Capital LLC. At MaxMyInterest, they worked with the head of operations on tactical marketing efforts to self-directed investors, and at Six Trees Capital LLC, they were responsible for growing revenues through developing strong relationships with key business partners and managing efforts with strategic integration partners. In 2014, they founded The FinTech Blog, which covers the world of FinTech with a focus on startups as well as industry leaders in wealth management, personal finance, mobile banking, payments and alternative lending.

Michael Halloran holds a Bachelor's degree from Brown University and a Master's degree from London Business School. Michael is also certified as a Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance.
