Patrick Kennedy

Patrick Kennedy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development, information security, and education. Currently serving as Software Team Lead, DevOps Team Lead, and Developer Experience & Outreach Lead at BIT Systems since October 2016, Patrick manages a small team focused on enhancing developer experience and troubleshooting DevSecOps pipeline tools, while also developing training curricula and hosting outreach events. Prior experience includes working as an Information Security Engineer at CACI International Inc, specializing in cloud security architecture and security training, and as a Teacher at Charles County Board of Education, where Patrick integrated technology into lessons and led various educational initiatives. Patrick holds a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus and another in Educational/Instructional Technology from Boise State University, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
