Robert Myers has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Robert began their career in 2000 as a Software Engineer at Moneystar, where they worked until 2001. From there, they moved on to Whole Security as a Senior Software Engineer from 2002 to 2005. Robert then joined Blue Coat Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked until 2009.
In 2009, Robert co-founded and served as a Client Lead at Ziften Technologies. During their time there, they played a key role in architecting and building a client deployed at several Fortune 500 companies. Robert also contributed to data analysis and engineered the build system for automated builds.
After leaving Ziften Technologies in 2012, Robert worked as an Independent Consultant for a brief period before joining Wheel InnovationZ, Inc. as a Lead Android Developer in 2013. Later that year, they transitioned to a role as a Senior Software Engineer at TabbedOut, where they worked until 2016.
In 2016, Robert joined BorrowersFirst, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and remained in that role until 2017. Robert then joined uShip as a Senior Developer I, where they worked until 2019.
Robert's most recent position is at SixEngines, where they serve as the Chief Scientist from 2019 to the present.
Robert Myers pursued their education starting in 1989 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology in 1993. Following this, they attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1993 to 1994, during which they earned a Master of Science degree in Computational Biology.
