Zhangwei Ning, PhD, is an experienced professional in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, currently serving as Area Technical Manager for the USA and Canada at SIXENSE GROUP since July 2013, where responsibilities include project management and engineering for the Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement Program. Academic contributions include guest lecturer roles at the University of Washington and Oregon State University from 2019 to 2021, focusing on advanced geosystems and slope design, respectively. Zhangwei Ning's foundational experience includes teaching and research assistant positions at North Carolina State University, where involvement spanned geotechnical course instruction and discrete element modeling research. Educational qualifications include a PhD from North Carolina State University, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees from Tongji University in geotechnical and civil engineering.
