Hector Garcia Beita

Hector Garcia Beita is a highly experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong background in Ruby on Rails, React, and Postgres. Currently employed at SixFifty and Smash Costa Rica since November 2021, Hector has previously held a significant role at Cecropia Solutions from July 2012 to November 2021, where contributions included developing applications for Morgan Stanley at Work and enhancing legacy systems. Earlier experience includes work as a ColdFusion Developer at Soluciones Integrales S.A. from July 2011 to July 2012, where Hector improved various ERP processes. Hector holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Computing from the Universidad de Costa Rica and is pursuing a Licentiate’s Degree in Computer Engineering and Project Management at Universidad Estatal a Distancia de Costa Rica. Additionally, Hector has completed an English Intermediate program at the same institution.
