George Foot

George Foot has been involved in a range of roles in the biotechnology field. In 2013, they began working as a Researcher at Uppsala University. In 2015, they became the Founder of desciphered. In 2017, they founded and became co-CEO of Sixfold Bioscience, a venture-backed preclinical-stage biotechnology company based in London. Sixfold develops programmable drug delivery systems, with a current focus on siRNA for gene silencing and mRNA for gene expression.

George Foot completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) at Loughborough University from 2010 to 2013. George then went on to obtain their Master of Science (MSc) in Bioscience from the University of Warwick from 2013 to 2014. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology at the University of Cambridge from 2014 to 2018.
