Erik Hunstad

Erik is the Chief Technology Officer of SixGen, Inc. He is responsible for the technical direction of products and services as well as leading research and development efforts. Erik also directs the adversary emulation service offering, utilizing the latest tools and techniques to highlight weaknesses in customer defenses and help them improve. Prior to joining SixGen, he was an officer in the United States Army, with multiple task force deployments and was one of the first soldiers to transfer to the Army's Cyber branch after its founding in 2014. Erik has a bachelor's degree in computer science from the United States Military Academy and has continued to learn and share his knowledge at major conferences such as DEF CON.
