Matt Carman

Jr Exploit Developer at Sixgen

Matt Carman has been working in the field of cyber security since 2017, when they began their role as a Cryptologic Linguist with the Marine Corps Communications & Electronics School (MCCES). In 2016, they worked as a SQL/Crystal Reports Developer with SBI Software. In 2022, they began working as a Jr Exploit Developer with SIXGEN and as a CMS Cybervet Intern with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Matt Carman attended Lincoln High School from 2012 to 2016 and received a High School Diploma. Matt then attended Oregon State University from 2015 to 2016, studying Computer Science. In 2016, they attended The Tech Academy for Computer Programming. From 2017 to 2019, they attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Pashto. Matt is currently attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is expected to graduate in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Security. Matt has also obtained two certifications, CompTIA Security+ in April 2021 and Microsoft Security Fundamentals in July 2020.
