Sandra Rutova is the current Principal & Deputy General Counsel at Sixth Street Growth. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from January 2011 to April 2017. There, they represented public and private companies, as well as private equity funds, in connection with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Sandra provided counsel to private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on a broad range of general corporate, securities laws, fund formation and corporate governance matters.

Sandra has worked as part of teams advising on various large-scale projects, including American Securities LLC's recapitalization of Aspen Dental Management Inc., their $860 million sale of General Chemical to Chemtrade, and their acquisitions of Royal Adhesives and Sealants, LLC, Grede Holdings and SpecialtyCare. Sandra has also worked with Centerbridge Partners, L.P. on their $1.2 billion acquisition of IPC Systems and their $1.1 billion take-private acquisition of P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc., as well as their substantial minority investment in syncreon Holdings Limited.

Other notable deals Sandra has been involved with include Guggenheim Partners, LLC's sale of Claymore Canada to BlackRock and their restructuring investment in BCBG Max Azria Group, Inc., Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP's $5 billion acquisition of Copano Energy LLC, Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.'s $16 billion sale of its entire stake in Archstone Enterprise LP, OMERS Private Equity's recapitalization of Document Technologies Holdings,

Sandra Rutova has a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Sandra also attended the International School of Prague.
