Brett Liu

Brett Liu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology commercialization and corporate development. Currently serving as Principal at Sixty Degree Capital since May 2021, Brett co-founded XProEM Ltd. and held the role of Technology Commercialization Lead at the University of Toronto from January 2019 to May 2021. Prior experience includes Senior Corporate Development Lead at Bankers Petroleum Ltd., Senior Associate and Associate at Loong Triumph Capital Management, and Technology Development Engineer at Hatch. Brett began a career at Unilever as a Junior Operation Engineer and worked as a Technical Services Engineer at Suncor Energy. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Materials Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University, complemented by a high school diploma from The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China.
