Nate Xia

Nate Xia, PhD is a Principal at Sixty Degree Capital, focusing on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in the healthcare sector globally. Prior to this role, Nate was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of British Columbia, where Nate worked on projects related to the elasticity of titin in cardiomyopathy. Nate's experience also includes an internship as an Associate Analyst in Equity Research at CITIC Securities Company Limited, where Nate covered the chemical sector in the Chinese stock market. Nate holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Polymer Science from Tsinghua University, with additional educational background in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, Sichuan University, and the University of Alberta.
