Malin Frenning

Malin Frenning currently serves as the VD at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden since October 2023 and holds several board member positions, including at Polhem Infra and SJ AB. With prior experience as EVP and Head of Infrastructure at AFRY until October 2023, Malin has also contributed as a board member for NOBINA AB and HEXATRONIC GROUP AB. Malin has been involved in various initiatives, including serving as a member of the insynsråd for Havs- och vattenmyndigheten and as an expert in the Swedish government co-operation group for Näringslivets klimatomställning. A former CEO of the County Council of Stockholm, Malin holds an honorary doctorate in technology from Luleå University of Technology, where education was completed between 1987 and 1993.
