Mats Almgren

Mats Almgren is an experienced executive in the transportation and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as SVP-Director of Procured Traffic and SVP Chief Commercial Officer at SJ AB since April 2019, overseeing B2B and B2C sales, marketing, customer service, revenue and product management, and customer experience development. In addition to roles at SJ AB, Mats is a board member for multiple organizations including Samtrafiken, Sveriges Kommunikationer AB, and previously for Customer First AB and Comintelli. Mats has held significant positions in Telenor Group, including CMO Business for Telenor Sverige AB, driving the company’s business divisions and strategy, as well as CEO of Canal Digital Sverige AB, leading the company in the Nordic TV distribution market. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA from the Swedish Management Group and participation in several executive leadership programs at Stockholm School of Economics.
