Product Manager + UI/UX Designer at SJ Mobile Labs

Norika Y. has extensive work experience in various roles related to product management, UI/UX design, marketing, and graphic design.

In 2014, Norika worked as a Layout Editor for Perspective Magazine, where they managed a team and produced editorial spreads and promotional material for 8 editions of the magazine.

From 2015 to 2017, Norika served as the Head of Design for the Kuala Lumpur Model United Nations (KLMUN) conference, where they designed stationery, committee banners, and certificates. Norika also facilitated logistics and communications with attendees during the event and published daily editorials for each committee.

From 2021 to 2022, Norika worked as a UI/UX Research Assistant at Waseda University, conducting in-depth analysis of cultural and embassy websites of EU member states. Norika also conducted bug fix analysis of over 750 pages, identifying critical UI issues and areas for improvement.

In 2022, Norika participated in the Japan Product Camp as a Product Management student cohort. Norika strategized and designed new features for the sustainability app mymizu, based on user research and competitor analysis. Norika successfully pitched the final solutions to key stakeholders.

In 2022, Norika also worked as a Marketing Strategist and Graphic Designer at an unnamed company. Norika developed marketing material and global positioning strategies for B2B and B2C clientele, including a niche South Korean entertainment brand featured on Running Man.

In 2023, Norika held two roles at Habitto. Norika started as a UI Designer, contributing to the design of their products. Later, they became a Product Manager + UI/UX Designer, taking on additional responsibilities in managing products and designing user experiences.
