Shigesuke Kashiwagi

Shigesuke-san (Shige) is a seasoned financial sector executive with broad experience and a well-respected figure with the Japanese Regulator.

He spent his early career on the fixed income trading floors at Nomura in Tokyo, New York, and London. Later he served as Global Head of Fixed Income, Regional Head for the Americas, Global Head of Regulatory Affairs, and CFO.

As Head of Schroders Japan, he successfully raised the company profile to a reputable player in Japan in the competitive industry.

He is also advising the PE world by assuming the Senior Advisor role for EQT AB to help their entry into Japan.
