Edmir Mehmeti

Edmir Mehmeti currently serves as a political secretary for the chairman of the municipal executive board in Höganäs kommun, a position held since September 2023. Simultaneously, Edmir is the district chairman of Moderata Ungdomsförbundet in Skåne and also serves as the first vice-district chairman and election leader for the organization. Since September 2022, Edmir has been a member of the regional council for Moderaterna, representing the southeast electoral district in Region Skåne. Edmir's extensive local government experience includes roles on several committees in Sjöbo Kommun and previous experience as a substitute teacher in Malmö stad and as a weigh administrator at Lantmännen. Edmir is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in History at Lund University, expected to be completed in June 2024.
