Sigríður Vala Halldórsdóttir

Sigríður Vala Halldórsdóttir is the director of finance and information technology. The division is responsible for collection and accounting, information technology and business intelligence. Sigríður Vala holds an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a B.Sc. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Iceland, in addition to which she has completed a degree in securities trading. Sigríður Vala was the director of Sjóvár's economics department from 2016 as well as a member of the company's investment committee. Sigríður Vala worked in the years 2008-2015 in Íslandsbanki's Corporate Finance and at Creditinfo in the years 2015-2016 as Head of Business Management. Sigríður Vala sits on the board of HS Veitur hf. and SÝN hf.
