Caroline Clouse has a diverse work experience in the fields of copy editing, writing, and corporate communications. Caroline worked as a Copy Chief and Senior Editor at Group SJR from January 2016 to April 2018. Caroline has also freelanced as a Copy Editor for Penguin Random House and Hachette Book Group since September 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Technical Publications at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation from March 2011 to April 2016. Early in their career, they worked as an Editorial Manager at Turner Broadcasting from January 2006 to March 2009 and as an Associate Editor/ Feature Writer at Triple D Publishing - OnSat Magazine from July 2003 to July 2005.
Caroline Clouse has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Caroline also holds a Diploma in Copyediting, Proofreading, and Fact-Checking from the NYU School of Professional Studies. Furthermore, Caroline Clouse studied Media at Stuttgart Media University. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Editing from the University of Chicago Graham School in April 2013.
