Mary Montserrat-Howlett

Mary Montserrat-Howlett has extensive work experience in various roles related to content marketing and production. Mary is currently the Vice President for Content and Connections at SJR, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, Mary worked at AppDirect, where they served as the Producer for the Decoding Digital Podcast and later became the Head of Content Marketing from 2016 to 2022. Mary also held the role of Content Marketing Lead at Radialpoint, which was later acquired by AppDirect, from 2014 to 2016. Before joining AppDirect, Mary worked as a Content Marketing Practice Lead at iProspect Canada in 2013 and as a Content Marketing Manager, Lead Copywriter, and Junior Copywriter at NVI from 2008 to 2013. Mary started their career as a Managing Editor at RushPRNews in 2007 and also worked as a Freelance Writer.

Mary Montserrat-Howlett completed their Bachelor's of Arts degree in Human Relations, with a minor in Political Science, from Concordia University. Mary attended Concordia from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a DEC (Diploma of Collegial Studies) in Liberal Arts from Dawson College, where they studied from 2000 to 2002.

In terms of additional certifications, Mary Montserrat-Howlett obtained the HubSpot Inbound Certification from HubSpot Academy in October 2019. Mary also holds a Google Analytics Individual Qualification, which was obtained in September 2013. Furthermore, they received a Concordia Journalism Certificate in August 2007.
