Terence Gao

Terence Gao has extensive experience in investment banking and industrial investment, particularly within the technology sector. Presently, at SK China, Terence focuses on private equity investments in semiconductors, AIoT, 5G, electric vehicles, and advanced driver-assistance systems since September 2018. Previously, as General Manager of Industrial Investment at 华夏幸福基业股份有限公司 from August 2016 to August 2018, Terence targeted investments in semiconductor-related companies. Terence's earlier role as Director of Ecosystem Building at Intel involved leveraging industrial resources and managing cross-functional teams to enhance cloud computing, AI, and telecommunications sectors from July 2009 to June 2016. Additional experience includes business development at Legend Silicon, where Terence secured a $40 million investment from Intel Capital, and technical roles at Cirrus Logic as an ASIC Engineer. Terence holds multiple degrees, including MBAs from Tsinghua University and MIT Sloan School of Management, alongside an MSc from Imperial College London and a BSc from Beijing Institute of Technology.
