Amy Wang

Amy Wang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Amy started their career as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, where they contributed to a research paper and simulated integrated circuits. Amy then worked as an Application Engineering Graduate Intern at IBM, where they performed system level validation and characterization for PowerPC microprocessors, as well as debugged and analyzed field returns.

Amy then joined AMD as a Product Development Engineer II, where they performed silicon characterization and led test plan development for dual/quad-core platforms. Amy later became a Senior Design Verification Engineer at AMD, responsible for design verification of memory controller IP and maintaining test bench environments. Amy also performed silicon characterization for high-speed IO compliance and developed code to enhance CPU/APU performance.

Next, Amy worked at SMSC as a Failure Analysis Engineer, conducting failure analysis on automotive ICs and developing comprehensive analysis strategies. Amy also developed scan tests using LabVIEW for improved fault isolation capability.
