Kai Chiou

Kai Chiou has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. They started their career at IDT in 2000 as a Circuit Design Engineer, where they focused on CAM/SRAM BiCMOS circuit design. They then served as a Senior Place and Route Engineer and a Staff Physical Design Engineer at IDT before being promoted to Manager, where they were responsible for managing the place-and-route team for ASIC/SOC design. They later became a Senior Manager at IDT, overseeing the place-and-route team and leading various tasks such as ECO flow, power analysis, RC extraction, and verification. In 2014, Kai Chiou joined SK hynix memory solutions inc. as a Principal Engineer. They currently work at Solidigm as an Associate Principal.

Kai Chiou received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians from the National Cheng Kung University from 1992 to 1996. Following this, in 1998 and 1999, Kai Chiou pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California.
