Praneeth Kamana

Praneeth Kamana is an accomplished microbiologist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Microbiology at SK pharmteco since January 2024, Praneeth previously held a similar position at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines from May 2021 to June 2025, and worked as a Senior Microbiology Lab Manager at Pii from October 2020 to April 2021. Throughout a career that began with roles in quality control and microbiological testing at companies such as Teligent, SCA Pharmaceuticals, and Unilever, Praneeth has developed expertise in rapid microbial testing, environmental monitoring, risk assessment, and validation processes. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Biology with a focus on Genetics from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Sathyabama University.
