Erich Bopp currently serves as Vice President for Students Leading Collaborative Computing Education since August 2024 and is an Undergraduate Researcher at North Carolina State University, beginning January 2024, where responsibilities include data analysis using acoustic doppler current profilers and optimization of Matlab code for marine hydrokinetic energy-harvesting research. Additionally, Erich holds the position of Engineering Education Research Assistant, focusing on responsible AI in education, collaborating on engineering education assessments, and developing Python scripts for data visualization which contributed to research presented at the ASEE Annual Conference. Previous experience includes managing two diverse residential communities as a Resident Advisor and working as a Marketing Data Analysis Intern at SKA Consulting Engineers, Inc., where project and database analysis was performed to enhance operational efficiency. Erich is pursuing dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Cognitive Science at North Carolina State University, scheduled to graduate in December 2026, and holds a high school diploma from STEM Early College at NC A&T SU.
