Susanne Werry

Susanne Werry is a legal professional currently serving as Counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates, specializing in Data Protection and Cybersecurity since January 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Counsel focused on Data Protection and Commercial law at Clifford Chance from August 2013 to January 2024, as well as positions as Senior Associate and Associate in related areas. Susanne has extensive experience advising corporate clients on data protection, commercial contracts, and technology matters, including in the context of M&A and private equity transactions. Additionally, Susanne has served as a Visiting Lecturer in IT and E-Commerce Law at Universität Passau, and completed training at Landgericht Frankenthal and Hogan Lovells. Susanne holds a Master in International Commercial and Business Law from the University of East Anglia and a First State Examination in Law from Universität Trier.
