Ziv Fridfertig

Ziv Fridfertig has extensive experience in the field of database administration and data infrastructure. Ziv started their career at IDF as a Java and PL/SQL Developer from 2002 to 2005, and then transitioned to become an Oracle DBA from 2005 to 2007.

In 2008, Ziv joined Pelephone as an Oracle DBA on the infra side, where they implemented databases on Linux/Windows servers and gained expertise in Oracle Exadata. Ziv also worked as an Oracle DBA on the application side, focusing on schema design, PL/SQL development, and database administration.

Since 2016, Ziv has been working at Skai, initially as a DBA, Cloud & Automation Devops, where they managed various databases such as MySQL, MemSQL, and Snowflake. Ziv then took on the role of DBA Team Lead, overseeing the administration of hundreds of databases. Recently, they have been serving as the Data Infra Team Lead, responsible for choosing data store solutions, implementing new technologies, and improving data workflows.
