Skal Biocontrole
Robert van Gorcom is a distinguished leader with extensive experience in food safety and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as Penningmeester for Alzheimer Nederland, Robert also holds positions as Vice-chair and Treasurer of the Supervisory Board of SKAL Biocontrole, and Advisor to the Director General at the Agricultural Genomics Institute Shenzhen. Previously, Robert was General Director of Wageningen Food Safety Research, where a significant merger took place, and General Director of RIKILT Wageningen University & Research, known for its work in food safety. Additional roles include Deputy Director at the European Food Safety Authority and Vice-chairman at WageningenUR/Chile. With a strong educational background, including a PhD in molecular genetics from the University of Amsterdam, Robert's expertise spans various facets of food science and safety.

Skal Biocontrole
Skal Biocontrole staat voor betrouwbaar biologisch. We houden toezicht op ruim 4000 biologische bedrijven in Nederland. Als onpartijdige derde en in opdracht van de overheid controleren we of het biologische product aan de wettelijke eisen voldoet. Dit doen we door te inspecteren, te beoordelen en te certificeren. Onze medewerkers delen hun interesse in het proces, zijn betrokken bij de klant en voeren hun taak met zorgvuldigheid uit. Zij zijn kritisch op hun werk en op dat van anderen en stellen zelfstandigheid binnen hun werk op prijs. Vakkennis en ervaring zijn in ruime mate aanwezig.
