Michael Newsome

Michael Newsome has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael started their career in the US Army Reserves as a Combat Engineer, where they deployed in a combat role to Operation Enduring Freedom. Following their military service, they worked at Walmart as a Pharmacy Technician, Support Manager, and Academy Facilitator Level 1, where they developed future leaders and trained associates. Michael then joined AssuredLeads as a Human Resources Manager, responsible for developing an employee handbook and implementing a hiring plan. After that, they worked at Cleary Building Corp. as an Assistant General Manager Operations, where they developed strategies to increase production and improve customer satisfaction. Michael also worked at Skana Aluminum Co. as a Business Analyst and at Eck Industries, Inc. as an Operations Supervisor. In the Army National Guard, they held multiple roles, including Battalion Fire Support Non-Commissioned Officer, Operations Non-Commissioned Officer, and Instructor, where they created standard operating procedures, trained soldiers, and led projects. Finally, they returned to Skana Aluminum Co. as a Plant Supervisor.

Michael Newsome attended Montana State University-Bozeman from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. In 2023, they enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside for a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance, General.

Additionally, Michael has obtained several certifications. In August 2014, they became a Certified Pharmacy Technician through a pharmacy institution. Michael also earned a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com in April 2019. Furthermore, they completed an Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Safety and Health Institute in May 2022. Finally, Michael obtained a Lift Truck Operator- Train the Trainer certification from the National Safety Council in January 2023.
