Robbie Morris is the Head of Commercial at Costain Group PLC, with a career spanning from July 2008 to the present, where responsibilities include overseeing all commercial activities for a high-speed rail project and managing a team of over 40 professionals. Previously, Robbie held various roles within the company, including Senior Commercial Manager and Commercial Manager, focusing on tunnelling and water framework projects, respectively. With a robust foundation in procurement, risk management, and project forecasting starting from the roles of Quantity Surveyor to Graduate Quantity Surveyor, extensive experience in rail and civil projects has been developed. Additionally, Robbie serves as Commercial Lead at Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture since February 2021. Robbie holds an MSc in Quantity Surveying from London South Bank University, earned between 2009 and 2011.

Delivering HS2 London Tunnels Together, Skanska, Costain and STRABAG Joint Venture, HS2 Ltd and our partners are an Integrated Project Team, delivering the HS2 London Tunnels. The individual partners have delivered high speed rail and major infrastructure internationally and have a proven record of working together. We bring together an industry-leading combination of tried, tested and successful partnerships, worldwide high-speed rail experience and extensive national and regional knowledge. We are one of four Integrated Project Teams delivering the Main Works in the first phase of HS2. As partners, we play an active role in shaping and delivering the overall vision and strategic objectives of the programme. Our experience Not only have the individual companies delivered high speed rail, major infrastructure and some of the most iconic structures internationally, the joint venture also has a proven record of working together. Skanska and Costain have a long history of successfully delivering civil engineering projects together in the UK, dating back 30 years. In joint venture they have delivered many major infrastructure projects, including the M25 in the 1980s, High Speed 1 in the early 2000s and the current Crossrail endeavour coming to completion under the streets of London in 2018. STRABAG and Skanska have worked together for over 15 years on European projects in Switzerland, Slovakia and Norway.
