Sara Gorton

Sara Gorton is an accomplished professional in sustainability and environmental strategy, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Sustainability & Innovation at Skanska Sverige since February 2022. With a strong background in sustainable business practices, Sara has held key positions such as Head of Sustainability at Skanska Sverige and various leadership roles at NCC and Telia, where efforts were focused on integrating sustainability into business operations. Additionally, Sara contributes to the broader community as Chairman of the Board for the Stig and Ragna Gorthons Foundation and has served as Chairman of the Board for SE Forum. An experienced consultant, Sara's early career included significant roles at Wallenius Marine AB and Wallenius Lines, where strategic environmental initiatives were prioritized. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and economic studies at Stockholm University.
