Skate Like a Girl
Stephanie Curtiss, SHRM-CP, currently serves as an HR Business Partner for the NA Region at Lam Research since May 2024 and as an HR & Recruiting Advisor for Skate Like a Girl, a volunteer leadership role aimed at promoting social justice and empowerment through skateboarding. Previously, Stephanie held various managerial and recruiting positions, including Manager of Global Talent Acquisition at Vacasa, where a global team was managed, and over 190 positions were successfully filled in five months. Additional roles include senior recruiter positions at On, Wayfair, and Stitch Fix, along with a leadership role in candidate experience at Nike. Stephanie's background includes human resources and marketing roles in law firms and retail, complemented by educational qualifications in Human Resource Management and Merchandising Management from Portland State University and Oregon State University.

Skate Like a Girl
The mission of Skate Like a Girl is to create an inclusive community by promoting confidence, leadership, and social justice through skateboarding. Historically, certain identities such as women and trans people, have been excluded from skateboarding. Since 2000, we've been transforming this historical lack of inclusion by building community that challenges who and how people skateboard. We achieve this through programs and events that create safer spaces and eliminate barriers to access, while also calling in the whole community on issues of social justice and equity.
