Murtaza Rahimi is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in both academia and governmental roles. Currently serving as a Programs Officer at Skateistan since March 2022, Murtaza previously held academic positions as a Faculty Lecturer at Avicenna University and a University Lecturer at Gawharshad University, teaching Constitutional Law. Murtaza's experience in the public sector includes serving as the Director of Legal Services for State Owned Corporations at the Ministry of Finance and various roles at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, including Acting General Director of Trade Policy and Services. Murtaza also worked as a Senior Associate at Kakar Advocates and a Legal Advisor at Da Afghanistan Bank. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Human Rights and Comparative Constitutional Law from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Law from Balkh University. Additionally, Murtaza contributed to legal discourse as a member of the Editorial Committee for the Texas Hispanic Journal of Law & Policy.

We are an award-winning NGO, driving a global movement in skateboarding and creative learning.
