Alice Twu

Alice Twu has a diverse range of work experience. Alice is currently working as a Content Marketing Specialist at Skedda since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Copywriter, where they created email campaigns and wrote digital and print copy that led to increased open and click rates, higher conversion rates, and organic traffic. Before their role as a Copywriter, they worked as a Teacher at Berryessa Union School Dist from November 2014 to August 2021. In this role, they developed and implemented district-wide programs, introduced new teaching methods, and provided IT support. Additionally, they worked briefly as a Linguistic Consultant at Facebook in May 2014. In their early career, they held multiple positions at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Alice served as a Resident Assistant from September 2012 to August 2014, where they planned and organized programs for residents and managed administrative tasks. Alice also worked as a Research Assistant from October 2013 to January 2014, conducting experiments and collecting data for analysis. Furthermore, they worked as a New Student Advisor at UCLA New Student & Transition Programs from June 2012 to June 2013, where they provided campus tours and facilitated discussions to help new students transition to college life.

Alice Twu has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Linguistics with a specialization in Computing from UCLA. Alice also holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from San Jose State University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Digital Marketing from General Assembly in January 2023 and in Google Ads Search from Google in January 2022.
