Rene Alejandro Manzanilla Vela

Rene Alejandro Manzanilla Vela is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in diverse hospitality settings. Currently serving as Head Chef at Rumba Restaurant Vista Mare Club under Skelmore Hospitality Partners since March 2021, Rene previously held the position of Head Chef at Trader Vic's Restaurant within Hilton Dubai Jumeirah from February 2020 to March 2021. Prior career roles include Chef De Cuisine at both Aloft Hotels from November 2017 to February 2020 and Habtoor Hospitality from April 2017 to November 2017, as well as Head Chef at Fuego Mexican Contemporary Restaurant from March 2015 to May 2017. Rene began the culinary journey as Chef de Partie at Grosvenor House Dubai from November 2012 to March 2015. Educationally, Rene holds a Licenciatura degree in Culinary Sciences and Food Technology from Escuela Culinaria del Sureste, completed in 2009.
