Duncan McGlincy, P.E. began their work experience as an intern at Gradex, Inc. in 2014, where they assisted Project Managers and Superintendents with highway interchange improvements. Duncan then worked as a Field Engineer Co-op at Adams Robinson, supporting the construction of a pump station and performing tasks such as tracking deliveries and compiling reports. As a Project Estimator Co-op at the same company, they collaborated on material quantity takeoffs for wastewater treatment plant bids. In 2017, Duncan joined BLA, Inc. as a Construction Engineer, managing and overseeing various projects including roadway reconstruction and resurfacing. Duncan later transitioned to the role of Civil Design Engineer, leading internal teams to produce engineering plan sets and implementing a 3D corridor modeling design procedure. Duncan'sresponsibilities also included generating technical reports for project designs. Most recently, Duncan joined Skender in 2022 as an Assistant Project Manager.

Duncan McGlincy, P.E. pursued their Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton between 2012 and 2017. Duncan successfully completed this degree program, although the specific field of study within civil engineering is not provided. In addition to their educational background, Duncan McGlincy also holds a Professional Engineer (PE) certification. Duncan obtained this prestigious certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in June 2021.
