John (Yanni) Kousiounelos

John (Yanni) Kousiounelos has extensive work experience in the construction and facilities management industry. John (Yanni) most recently worked at Skender as an Assistant Project Manager, starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Project Manager at Bear Construction Company from April 2017 to October 2021. During their time at Bear Construction Company, John successfully managed various construction projects, including the renovation of the Old Chicago Post Office and show room build-outs at the Merchandise Mart. Their responsibilities included safety audits, scheduling, cost estimation, subcontractor management, and training. Before joining Bear Construction Company, John worked at Northbrook School District 28, where they held positions as a Facilities Management Project Coordinator, Assistant Head Custodian, and Building Maintenance Custodian. In these roles, they demonstrated skills in project planning and execution, site maintenance, and trades training.

John (Yanni) Kousiounelos attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 2012 to 2016, although the specific degree or field of study pursued during this time is unknown. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including being a Certified Passive House Builder (CPHB) from Phius (Passive House Institute US) in May 2023.
