Maria Savannah

Maria Savannah has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Maria worked as a Project Coordinator at Skender starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Performance Program Operations Manager at the University of Chicago from 2018 to 2022, where they provided scheduling and logistical support for the Department of Music Performance Program. Maria also managed operations for the Chicago Center for Contemporary Composition.

Maria had experience with stage crew and operations at Marlboro Music in 2017-2018. At Carnegie Mellon University, they worked as a Temporary Administrative Assistant and later as an Administrative Assistant in the School of Drama from 2017 to 2018, where they handled payroll distribution, assisted with faculty review processes, and supported the department head.

In 2016, Maria interned at Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, assisting the artistic and music administrators with day-to-day operations. Maria also had internship experiences as an Artistic & Education Intern at The Butler County Symphony Orchestra in 2015 and as an Operations Intern at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in 2014.

Maria Savannah attended Butler Area Senior High School from 2009 to 2013, where they graduated with honors and distinction. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Music degree in the Music Industry field at Syracuse University from 2013 to 2017.
