David Slutzky

David Slutzky is an accomplished entrepreneur and academic with extensive experience in environmental services and sustainable technology. As the Founder and Chairman of the Board at Fermata Energy, a company focused on electric vehicle to grid (V2G) technology, David has been instrumental in advancing innovative energy solutions since November 2010. David also serves as a Research Associate Professor at the University of Virginia and co-founded Skeo Solutions, where leadership has spanned since June 1996. Previous leadership roles include Chairman of the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors and Senior Policy Advisor at The White House, where David coordinated initiatives on sustainable development. David established Environmental Risk Consultants, Inc. in 1985, developing the Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment process and co-founded ERIS, which introduced the first environmental database for the due diligence industry. David's educational background includes a BA and PhD candidacy in Political Philosophy from the University of Chicago, and a JD in Environmental and Energy Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
