Iain Shovlin

Iain Shovlin is the Founder, Chairman, and Managing Partner of Guild Capital, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage tech-enabled consumer businesses outside Silicon Valley, a position held since April 2009. Additionally, Shovlin serves as Chairman and seed investor for Ruggable, and as a seed investor and board member for multiple companies including Fresh Clean Threads, Hedley & Bennett, and Dr. Squatch. Other notable roles include Board Observer for Petal, Board Member for MailControl, and seed investor and board member for Home Chef. Shovlin is also the Founder and Chairman of Argyle Search Partners, a search firm, and the first investor and board member of TechStyle Fashion Group. Shovlin's educational background includes attendance at The University of Edinburgh.
