Jessica Lyew-Ayee

Jessica Lyew-Ayee has a wealth of experience in graphic design and creative work. Jessica began their career in 2009 as a Drawing and Design Teacher at KIPP Endeavor Academy, where they designed a year-long curriculum of lesson plans to teach middle school students technical drawing, illustration, the basics of typography, and the basics of conceptual design. Later that year, they were hired as a Catalog Designer at the Kansas City Art Institute to design the 2009 Auction Catalog. In 2011, Jessica took on the role of Annual Report Graphic Designer at Reconciliation Services. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at ASAP Printing & Graphics and Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. In 2020, they took on the role of Senior Graphic Designer & Consultant at Longevity Consulting, where they researched IT Modernization topics and methodologies and visually translated them into concise educational informational graphics. In 2021, they became Senior Graphic Designer at SketchDeck and Art Director at Astriata. Additionally, in 2019, Jessica founded The Silk Pen Studio, LLC, a graphic design studio focused in branding and branding strategy.

Jessica Lyew-Ayee attended the Design & Architecture Sr. High from 2002 to 2006, where they studied Graphic Design. Jessica then attended the Kansas City Art Institute, where they obtained a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Graphic Design in 2010.
