Geoffrey Sutcliffe has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Geoffrey started their career as a Software Engineer at Motorola in 2006, where they worked on the hardware/software interface of mobile handset devices. Geoffrey then joined Symbian in 2008 as a Software Engineer, primarily focusing on developing Symbian OS device drivers for Bluetooth and FM radio hardware. At Thales, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from 2009 to 2015, they contributed to the development of safety-critical software systems for Air Traffic Management, including surveillance software and Human-Machine-Interface software. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, specializing in Planning & Scheduling. Geoffrey later continued their work as a Software Engineer at the same institution from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Geoffrey is working as a Software Engineer at SketchUp, starting from March 2019.

Geoffrey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from Edith Cowan University, where they studied from 2000 to 2006.
