Dr Mohamed Sherif

Dr. Mohamed Sherif is a seasoned expert in materials science and metallurgy with extensive experience in the automotive and steel industries. Currently serving as a Senior Steel Technology Expert at SKF Group since September 2025, Dr. Sherif has previously held positions as a Senior Metallurgist at Northvolt and a Senior Scientist at Johnson Matthey. Dr. Sherif's career at SKF Group began in 2007, where roles ranged from Researcher to Senior Scientist, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to the field. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Al-Azhar University.
