Peter Knauer

Peter Knauer has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles and industries. Peter will be the Head of Supply Chain at SKF Group starting in November 2022. Prior to this, Peter was the Vice President Operations at Gunnebo Safe Storage from November 2018 to October 2022. Peter also owned their own company, Carma Management, since April 2018. Peter has extensive experience at ABB, where they held positions including SVP Operations, Large Motors & Generators, Managing Director, Motors & Generators, and Manager in Production, Quality & Process Development, Mechanical Design & Final Assembly, and Production line Stator Winding. Peter's career at ABB started in 1999 as a Consultant and Executive Trainee. Peter also served as a member of the board at IndustriQompetens Mälardalen AB from March 2009 to March 2019.

Peter Knauer attended the Stockholm School of Economics from 2011 to 2012, where they focused on General Management. Prior to that, they pursued an MSc in Engineering from Luleå University of Technology from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, they participated in MBA studies at Western Washington University, specializing in Marketing & Finance. Their education also includes a UnivDipl in Production Technology from the University West, which they obtained from 1992 to 1995.
