Wouter Quak

Wouter Quak is a specialist in numerical simulation and software development at SKF Group, focusing on non-linear solid mechanics and numerical methods in mechanical engineering. Wouter earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Saxion Hogescholen and a Master’s degree with high distinction from the University of Twente, where they also completed a PhD on meshless methods for bulk forming processes. From 2012 to 2018, Wouter worked as a researcher at SKF, developing software for the simulation of bearing and sealing components, and currently leads a team to enhance advanced computational features.
