Leo Antolini

Art Director at Skidos Labs

Leo Antolini has a diverse background in design and art direction. In 2020, they were the Art Director at SKIDOS, where they directed the entire redesign of a learning app, including UI/UX proposals, color palettes and general style. Leo also created visual guidelines and ensured application across all touch points, and conceived and designed mascots, including guiding their use in product, web and marketing.

From 2004 to 2013, they worked as an Illustrator and Designer, and from 2009 to 2013 they were a Director and Producer. From 2009 to 2013, they were also the Director, Designer and Storyboard Artist at Peppermelon Studios, where they designed and directed animated shorts, managing a full team of animators, and developed concepts and story outlines, as well as created designs and storyboards for clients including The Guardian, FOX LatAm and Zilveren Kruis.

From 2009 to 2013, they were also the Character Designer and Concept Artist at 100 Bares.

Leo Antolini obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Animation - Visual Development / Character Design from the Academy of Art University between 2001 and 2005. In 2013, they attended the Latin American Social Sciences Institute (FLACSO) for the "Remix, Mash-up and New Narratives" seminar-workshop. Leo also attended the Red Solare / Reggio Children Foundation for the "Art and Creativity - International Encounter" seminar and the LatinLab for the "Quality Media Production for Children" seminar-workshop. In 2015, they received a Prix Jeunesse Suitcase workshop from the Telefonica Foundation. Finally, in 2016, they received a Certificate in Cultural Diplomacy by the Arts, Music and Cinema from the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy.
