Rashaad Jorden is an accomplished Associate Editor and Archivist at Skift since October 2020, where collaboration with staff has brought numerous stories and topics to life, along with writing scripts for the Skift Daily Briefing podcast. Experience also includes roles as a Writer and Editorial Assistant at Skift, composing articles focused on the tourism industry. Rashaad has been an Online Rater at Educational Testing Service since April 2015, scoring standardized tests such as CAASPPS and TOEFL. Previous positions include Employment Services Trainee at the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, Staff Writer for Ethical Traveler, Sports Section Editor for AJET, and Assistant Language Teacher in Japan through the JET Program. Rashaad's early career featured diverse roles such as Technical Assistant for the New Jersey Division of Taxation and Social Media Marketing Assistant at Green Global Travel, complemented by a Master's Degree in Responsible Tourism Management from Leeds Beckett University and a B.S. in English/Media Arts from Coppin State University.
