Yasten Burton

Yasten Burton is the current Area Partnership Manager at Skill Struck. Prior to this, Yasten was a Program Coordinator Assistant at Guilford County from August 2014 to July 2015. In this role, Yasten collaborated with ACES team members to supervise and facilitate developmental activities for 125 elementary students. Yasten also maintained a safe environment for all youth and families, managed program records, and established academic and behavior goal action plans for elementary students.

From January 2013 to December 2013, Yasten was a Program Coordinator at Youth Builders LLC, Group Home. In this role, Yasten was responsible for supervising a team of 6-8 direct care staff members who provided care and support to at-risk youth residing in a group home setting.

Yasten Burton began their career in March 2011 as a Unit Manager / Program Director at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, Yasten was responsible for the oversight of program activities for 50-75 youth ages 6-18. Yasten also managed a staff of 15-20 program staff members and implemented programming that aligned with the mission and goals of the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club.

Yasten Burton has a Bachelors of Arts in Drama from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an MBA in Entrepreneurial Studies/Business Management from Capella University, and an Associate's degree in Theatre/Theater from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
